How do I order a custom hat?

Pick your hat on the product page, upload your logo where it says UPLOAD LOGO (REQUIRED), and check out. For bulk or team orders, you can also start with one of our hat builder quote forms and request a free mockup first. Either way, production only begins once you approve your digital proof.

What is the mockup?

It is the real thing, not a digital render. We build your hat exactly as you chose it, make your patch from genuine top-grain leather, and send you photos of the finished hat. What you see in the mockup is what you will receive.

How much do hats cost?

Every hat starts at $24.94 for a single hat, and the per hat price drops as quantity goes up:
Single hat: $24.94
2 or more: $24.94 (with free shipping)
12 or more: $23.94
24 or more: $22.94
36 or more: $21.94
48 or more: $20.94
60 or more: $19.94

Is there a minimum order?

No. You can order a single custom hat, and bulk pricing starts automatically at 12 hats.

How long does it take?

Every CAPHEAD hat is made to order. Production begins once you approve your digital proof, and your order is typically ready to ship within 14 business days of that approval. Delivery within Canada typically takes 8 to 10 business days after shipping.

Where do you ship, and what does shipping cost?

We ship within Canada only, from Burnaby, BC. Shipping is a flat $12.00 CAD for a single hat and free on orders of 2 or more hats. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order ships.

Can I mix and match hat colours?

Yes! Mix and match colours in the same order however you like. Each hat still gets your logo patch, and your quantity pricing is based on the total number of hats in the order, not the count per colour.

What hats can I choose from?

Our current lines are the Richardson 112 trucker, the Yupoong 6606 retro trucker, and the Yupoong 6006 flat bill. Every hat is an adjustable snapback, and the product pages and Sizing tab carry the fit details for each style. Sizing page: caphead.ca/pages/sizing

What is the patch made of?

Genuine top-grain leather, laser engraved with your logo and sealed with an acrylic topcoat. The patch colour, shape, and position (front or side) are yours to choose in the hat builders.

What logo file should I upload?

Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) engrave the cleanest, but a high-resolution PNG or JPG works too. Your digital proof shows exactly how the logo will engrave before anything is made, and production does not start until you approve it. If your logo needs a tweak to engrave properly, we will tell you before anything is made. Very fine lines and tiny text can get lost in leather, and we will suggest the smallest change that keeps your design intact.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Email us at hi@caphead.ca as soon as possible. If production has not started, we can usually adjust your order. Once your custom hat is made, it is final.

Can I return a custom hat?

Because every hat is made to order with your logo, we do not accept change of mind returns. If your hat arrives with a defect, or it does not match the proof you approved, contact us at hi@caphead.ca and we will make it right. Full policy: caphead.ca/policies/refund-policy

How do I care for the leather patch?

Wipe it clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Avoid soaking it. Natural tan leather will darken over time into a honey-toned patina, which is part of its character.
